About Gallery 111

Gallery 111 is a family-run art space located in the historic arts district of Marion, Illinois. The vision is to represent our own artwork along with local and regional artists whose art resonates with us. The gallery will feature a wide range of representational to abstract art, focusing on nature, observation, and work that reflects a sense of presence, curiosity, and connection to the world around us.

Our family, the Aitchisons, recently created a 30' x 50' mural on the side of our building, made possible by the 2025 Creative Catalyst Grant from the Illinois Arts Council. We believe art contributes to the vibrancy of a town and its community. The mural—and the gallery itself—reflect our intention to help create space where people feel inspired and connected.
